The Aleph Bet Jewish Day School Capital Campaign
Currently, the Aleph Bet Jewish Day School exclusively occupies 3,659 square feet at Congregation Kneseth Israel. However, as our student population grows so must the physical space.
Good news!!
Plans are currently underway to build an 11,500 square foot school wing that will contain: 6 classrooms, a media/computer center, art studio/science lab, administrative office suite, multi-purpose room, bathrooms, and extra storage space.
What we have done so far:
- Conducted a Jewish Demographic Survey
- Conducted Fundraising Feasibility Study
- Had a hearing before City of Annapolis Board of Appeals
- Acquired a long-term ground lease with Kneseth Israel
- Created a Capital Campaign Committee
- Budget/Finance
- Design and Construction
- Donor Recognition
- Legal and Major Gift Solicitation
- Long Range Planning
- Hired a part-time assistant
- Developed a case statement
